Manager - Oncology Support Services and Patient Navigation

The Manager of Patient Navigation has responsibility for the daily operations of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) Patient Navigation Program and Oncology Support Services (including the Survivorship Program and the Hereditary Cancer Program). This individual facilitates assessment, planning, implementation, and delivery of coordinated and integrated Patient Navigation and Oncology Support Services benefiting NHCI patients, clinicians, and other oncology care team members. The Manager, in partnership with the Director of Oncology Quality and Support Services, will oversee all aspects of service delivery within the hospital setting (Northside Hospital Atlanta, Forsyth, and Cherokee) and the outpatient environment (30+ outpatient infusion centers located within seven NHCI-defined regions across the state) including utilization of telemedicine; selection of appropriate communication platforms; and, continuous evaluation of the established regional support services care delivery model. Services being delivered within this model include Patient Navigation, Social Work, Nutrition, Genetic Counseling, Financial Assistance, Community Outreach, Rehabilitation, and Survivorship services.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field Five (5) years of healthcare experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Two (2) years of experience in oncology
