Gather business requirements and translate into functional and technical specifications. Utilize technical skills in COBOL programming, JCL, IMS DB, & VSAM, SQL and TERDATA. Develop new software solutions and customize pre-existing solutions to enhance productivity. Identify areas of System Enhancements and submit proposals. Develop, review and maintain business process documents and complex functional requirements documents. Create BRD document, reviewing technical design document and Business/Technical presentations and User acceptance testing. Analyze existing portal applications and enhance the system as per business processes and requirements. Develop new systems solutions and customize pre-existing solutions to enhance productivity. Create and analyze data flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams. Develop high level implementation plan and facilitate process models. Conduct system test plans, build test scripts, create test data, and carry out test execution tasks to ensure integrity and stability of build. Work closely with development team in resolving data and system migration issues to SQL Server. May travel and relocate to various unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related degree and 3years of relevant work experience; or a Bachelor’s degreeEngineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related degree and 5years of relevant work experience.
