Cyber Software Engineer

Key Role:
Work with a highly collaborative, fast-paced software development team in the Cybersecurity domain. Identify software-based solutions to help defend DoD networks. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Leverage technical expertise in information technology, networks, systems, and software architecture. Leverage knowledge of full-stack Web development, object-oriented programming, and design patterns, Web services, and large-scale, relational databases.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with Web application development, including .NET or Java equivalent
-5+ years of experience with C# or equivalent, including Java, C++, or Python
-5+ years of experience with relational databases, including SQL
-2+ years of experience with NoSQL-type databases
-Experience with Agile software development
-TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree and 10+ years of experience with software development

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the development of intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), firewalls, or other defensive Cybersecurity technologies
-Knowledge of Windows or Linux internals
-Knowledge of OSI model and network protocols
-Ability to analyze network traffic using Wireshark or othernetwork analysis tools
