Security professionals apply deep security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients.   The Security Associate Manager applies deep security skills to provide the following Security Services: design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets and people for Accenture and our clients. In addition, the role might require providing services to help clients protect their information, infrastructures, applications and business processes against cyber threats.  

Job Description Infrastructure Security Ops support management, maintenance, upgrade and operations related to infrastructure security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, End point Security systems, etc. Includes technical skills to maintain and operate SIEM platform, DLP systems, operational management of security devices, security event monitoring and incident response processes. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads. Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

The Security Operations Associate Manager will be primarily responsible for the monitoring and periodic reporting security infrastructure. Resource will be responsible with daily monitoring of security systems, monitoring security work queue for access management tasks, and creation of reporting provided to the Security Lead for presentation to the client teams. Role will require a keen attention to detail as well as a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance. The Security Operations Associate Manager role may also be asked to assist with the preparation of various operational documents to assure that all processes are documented and detailed on a continuing basis. A successful candidate for this position should possess knowledge of various forms of network and data security monitoring and or administration, access management processes and procedures, as well as be versed in usage of the entire Microsoft Office suite of products. Previous work experience in a security operations role is required.

- Basic qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • The Security Operation Associate Manager needs to be familiar with the usage of various supported network and data security concepts including, Logging Correlation SIEM ArcSight, QRadar, Splunk , Intrusion Detection Network or Host Cisco, Symantec , Anti Virus Anti Malware Solutions Symantec, MacAfee , Vulnerability Scanning Tenable, QualysGuard , IAM Access Management Oracle OAM OIM, Microsoft AD , File Integrity Management, Data Loss Prevention, etc.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an operational environment including monitoring and system tool management administration
