About the Job
Facility System owner for Mechanical Systems. This may include Boiler, Chiller, Ultra Pure water Plant, Chemical and Gas distribution systems. Responsibilities for system uptime, reliability improvements, cost savings, expansion design and predictive maintenance.
Factory operates 24/7 and requires individual with commitment to round the clock engagement. On-call engineering coverage occurs on a department rotation and is currently 1 of 7 weeks. This coverage requires the on-call engineer to answer their cell phone, field initial calls for all semiconductor facility systems during off hours and be available on-site within one hour.
Four year degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years’ experience in manufacturing environment. Specific knowledge of plant engineering and interaction of multiple support systems. Proficient with troubleshooting and diagnostic testing of mechanical and control systems. Ability to design hydraulic systems, pipe sizing for new equipment installation and distribution expansions. Required knowledge of maintenance systems, project management and documented work procedures for manufacturing. Competent in data analysis and statistical process control a must. Candidate must be able to lead teams and communicate issues and goals with clarity. Candidate must be able to create and present projects to site leadership. Ability to understand and create detailed procedure to ensure safety and reliability.
Specific knowledge of semiconductor facilities and manufacturing equipment including but not limited to Trane chillers, Atlas Copco compressors and Cleaver Brooks boilers.
