  • Provides leadership to the sales organization and manages a team of sales directors, account specialists and support staff
  • Maintains select direct national account relationships and develops and implements strategic account plans to grow revenue and retail programs within those national accounts
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, and strategic plans, for key accounts, regions and channels of distribution; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Designs, implements, and manages salesforecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting process, and coordinates with all cross-functional teams to execute plans and process
  • Develops marketing and merchandising solutions for key customers
  • Drives the development of national and if appropriate, international sales strategies
  • Maintains relationships with key customers/brokers and develops and implements strategies for expanding customer base
  • Works closely with executive leadership team to develop, establish and direct channel and distribution strategies and executes lead programs
  • Responsible for building and managing a national brokerage network
  • Works with the President to develop pricing policies and strategies to include volume discounts and terms and conditions for high profile and channel partners
  • Collaborates with art department to create, disseminate and develop sales material


  • 5 years outside salesexperience with one or more prominent CPG companies
  • Direct national account experience with buyers / category managers
  • Direct experience managing broker, distributor & independent salesnetworks
  • Successful growth of a national branded consumer packaged good


  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and staff to develop a results driven team oriented environment through motivation, coaching and market knowledge
  • Ability to establish contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners
  • Displays a professional and pleasant demeanor in dealing with co-workers, suppliers and customers
