We have an exciting opportunity on our Marketing Team for a Brand Manager. This role is based out of our Etobicoke located and responsible for :

Project Leadership and Executing with Excellence: Responsible for leading key projects to drive business results such as new product commercialization and integrated marketing communication plans. As the project leader, the BM will be accountable for delivering projects on time and on budget.

Championing the Consumer Mindset: The BM will bring creativity and innovative thinking in developing powerful strategic insights and translate the insights into business plans with clear priorities to deliver the brand P&L.

General Management: Drive the development, execution, and monthly monitoring of annual business plans and programs that will achieve business objectives. The BM will be a dynamic member of the commercial team, using his/her strong communication skills and listening skills to clearly and compellingly gain organizational alignment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post secondary degree in Business (preference will be given to B.Comm, B. Business Admin/ MBA)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in brand management & marketing
  • Experience independently managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, overcoming obstacles to execute with excellence
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate key insights into compelling action
  • Take-charge, independent self-starter who thrives on tackling challenges
  • A proven track record as a strong project leader and excellent communicator
  • Team player with strong people skills and a proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates energetic leadership, using a ‘can-do’ attitude that positively influences and energizes their team
  • Proven success in leading advertising, packaging and promotion development and connections planning.
  • Strong financial management & rigour with Brand P&L ownership mentality
  • Experience in consumer research: identifying research needs, action standards, and

translating consumer learning into actions.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Executing with Excellence: possess the proven ability to balance attention to detail with speed-to-market.
