This sourcing role focuses on the effective management of all aspects of the facilities sourcing and procurement. The Category Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities and strategies with multiple facilities and ensure alignment across the organization. The ideal candidate will be expected to take the lead in driving improvements in their supply base relative to price, quality, service, timeliness while ensuring compliance to all Qorvo’s sourcing and procurement processes.


  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders at Qorvo sites
  • Manage supplier relationships and supports multiple sites
  • Collaborate with key business partners within facilities, manufacturing, production, engineering, IT, HR, finance, legal, etc.
  • Always work within the code of conduct, ethical, and legal boundaries of the purchasing profession
  • Lead efforts with legal and functional partner to capture SOW and requirements for supplier contract execution
  • Responsible for the effective cross site coordination and optimization of the facilities equipment and services procurement process; Aligning delivery schedules and SOW structures
  • Formulate and implement strategies to mitigate risks, improve service, achieve savings, and drive standardization across the organization
  • Analyze spend, negotiates, and deliver savings and payment term improvements to enable Qorvo’s growth objectives
  • Responsible for supplier contract execution & management
  • Prepare and review contractual documents in coordination with contracts team
  •  Develop, communicate, implement, train internal customers and monitors sourcing and procurement policies, procedures & systems
  • Responsible for oversight of PO structure, timely purchase orders submittal, and follow-up with suppliers on orders and related issues
  • Prepare and present reports to management
  • Lead supplier evaluation and selection process with key stakeholders
  • Formulate RFP's and RFQ's
  • Review supplier performance issues to ensure those get resolved effectively and promptly


  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
  • 5 or more years of procurement experience required; 3+ years of procurement experience supporting facilities, operations and manufacturing preferred
  • PM or CPSM certification through ISM a plus, not required
  • SAP systems experience related to maintaining responsibility for system data integrity to ensure disruption free supply of materials and services
  • Proficiency with MS Office package with high degree of knowledge in MS Excel & PowerPoint
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong drive for creating value for internal customers
  • Ability to anticipate roadblocks and issues with suppliers, contracts, and deliverables and take proactive steps to resolve
  • Ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences
  • Self-managed, motivated: the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments, and desire to seek valuable improvements
  • Ability to keep multiple projects, assignments, or task moving forward simultaneously
