What you’ll do


As a Solutions Architect you provide the context through which the architecture of systems are properly understood, defined and designed throughout a project’s lifecycle.  You’ll recommend and drive solutions by participating in project definition and prioritization, determining solutions alternatives, creating conceptual designs and solutions that meet the business requirements and align with key strategies. Your key accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate with other architects to develop roadmaps for digital capabilities of the organization
  • Understand the business requirements, constraints and current situation to propose solutions to ensure roadmap can adapt to changes in the environment
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure solutions align with roadmap and architecture
  • Assist delivery teams by solving problems as they arise
  • Design, develop and communicate architecture designs with primary focus on Web technologies, mobile, J2EE platforms, Service Oriented Architecture and integration technologies.

What you’ve done

  • University or College degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent work experience 
  • Advanced hands on experience with HTML 5 technologies (eg. JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, WebSockets)  and frameworks  (eg. Angular.JS, Bootstrap, Node.js, Meteor.js)
  • 3 or more years of experience with a Web Content Management System with a strong understanding of tagging, analytics, segmentation, testing, personalization, and Digital Asset Management
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management and Mobile Access Gateway will be beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience for system architecture, design and integration
  • Understanding and knowledge of latest technology trends and strategies
  • 2 years in an Agile environment
  • Prepared presentations/briefings and presented to the senior management/executive level
  • Perferences will be given to individuals who possess experience and education with:
    • Java EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP/HTTPS, Junit, JSP
    • XML
    • MQ Series/JMS
    • Wepsphere, HIS
    • UNIX Shell Scripting
    • Oracle, JDBC
    • LDAP
    • IPSec, SSL/TLS, MPLS, Firewalls, F5 netwroks
