The Manager of XH Product Management will oversee key business planning and new product deployment activities for Comcast's Xfinity Home Business Unit. This critical role will focus on the next generation product strategy and roadmap, as well as developing business strategies, conduct market assessments, perform competitive assessments, develop go to market strategies, develop pricing/packing and lead internal and external cross-functional teams (including engineering, sales, marketing, Care, PR, etc.) to drive delivery of new services and features. This role will also be responsible for managing Xfinity Home roadmaps and partnering closely with engineering teams to drive development efforts.

Core Responsibilities:

- Create business strategies related to next generation home security, automation, and energy, go to market plans, and deployment playbooks for home security services and products.

- Internalizes and represents the voice of the customer throughout the XH lifecycle.

- Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience.

- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

- Conduct market research, market sizing, competitive analysis, and trend identification to identify/understand market segments and define product concepts.

- Drafts and manages requirements, and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps [methods and procedures], executive summaries, etc.).

- Create and manage business cases Understand the financial and customer impact of the product within the larger scope of the company's revenue and cost targets. Is able to identify success metrics in preparation for new product launches.

- Develop product materials such as use cases, Marketing Requirements Document (MRD), reporting requirements, and executive summaries.

- Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.

- Collaborate with cross-matrix marketing organizations to structure, deliver, and integrate market research.

- Team with product development, product engineering and enterprise technology to deliver, support, and manage high quality product and service launches.

- Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to the product content, pricing, packaging and features. Participates in defining product business and functional requirements.

- Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.

- Defines the product business and functional requirements, pricing, packaging, and features.

- Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks.

- Leads concepts defining and end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs.

- Evaluate technologies, products, and vendors to support development of detailed product features and requirements.

- Contributes to the product vision across the team and the organization.

- Team with product development, product engineering and enterprise technology to deliver, support, and manage high quality product and service launches.

- Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).

- Manage post product deployment activities track customer feedback, measure our trajectory against success metrics, and evaluate our impact on the business.

- Manage change requests. Validates downstream Deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing).

- Participate in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, product positioning, and pricing strategies.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

- Generally, requires 6-9 years related experience

- Experience in home security and automation, telecommunications, and consumer technology industries preferred.

- Deep interest and understanding of consumer tech products and product lines.

- Proven strategic problem solver with a track record of delivering original solutions backed up by strong analytics.

- Proven ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams within a flexible work environment.

- Must be able to bridge the gap between business and technology.

- Ability to work with all levels within the organization, including field service team members' management, cross-departmental teams, and senior leadership.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Self-starter with ability to quickly grasp complex subject matter.

- Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
