Kearney is currently seeking a Reports Developer to join the growing team in Dayton, Ohio.  This position will function at the Senior Analyst level.  The successful candidate will serve as a key member on the Reports team and interact with other Integrated Processing Teams in support of the development of the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS). The candidate will provide reporting related business development assistance, helping project teams through approved phases of the DEAMS ERP project governance, requirements definition, reports development, testing, problem solving and training. The candidate should demonstrate functional experience in Reporting Applications to include Oracle Business Intelligence and writing of Structured Query Language (SQL).  Other responsibilities include:

Required Skills

  • Provide analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reporting issues escalated from the help desk team
  • Review help desk tickets to determine if they require a design change
  • Create, modify and monitor Discoverer Reports
  • Maintain the Discoverer End User Layer with deployment document updates to the PMO and DBAs
  • Develop requirements and Perform testing for DEAMS reports Perform ad hoc query research and analysis
  • Research and optimize SQL used for Discoverer Reports
  • Review functional and technical design documents
  • Participate in process improvement workshops
  • Identify processes, document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes

Required Experience

  • Thorough understanding and experience with Business Intelligence Applications and SQL
  • 3+ years of working and design experience in Oracle ERP Applications
  • Experience working Oracle R12
  • Ability to analyze user reported errors to determine if the error is operational or systemic
  • Knowledge and experience in Air Force Financial Management
  • Ability and willingness to travel – up to 25%
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Discoverer, and Structured Query Language highly desirable, but not required
  • Experience in and knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, account reconciliation, policies and procedures that is reflective of the financial services industry a plus, but not required
