GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The NAWS Business Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and mining business analytics for business processes, objectives, continuous improvement initiatives and strategic goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Understands business process management and the business requirements of customers and translates them to specific requirements.

·        Looks for business opportunities to streamline processes with automated solutions to ensure best practices.

·        Makes soft code changes to the software based on issues or user requests.

·        Manages the full lifecycle business requirements (DMAIC).

·        Works closely with key business stakeholders from all departments to manage development of business requirements.

·        Develops and executes user training plans.

·        Gathers and analyzes data for ad hoc analysis for senior management decision making as required.

·        Develops, monitors, and maintains databases, spreadsheets, and graphs for management and others as required.

·        Compiles information and creates, maintains, and distributes statistical and business reports to management and supervisors as required.

·        Collect and validate data from all system platforms to ensure data integrity.

·        Assist in the establishment of performance metrics that are linked to business objectives, takes corrective action as required and reports on progress.

·        Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills and Abilities:

·        Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization.

·        Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.

·        Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

·        Writes routine reports and correspondence.

·        Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.

·        Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.

·        Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.). Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature.

·        Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.

·        Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.

·        Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.

Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).

Education and Experience:

·        Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, informatics or a related degree (required).

·        Three to five years of business analysis experience (preferred).

·        Microsoft Dynamics CRM software experience (preferred).

·        Leansix sigmaexperience (preferred)

Computer Skills:

·        Advanced MS Office suite, MS Project.
