These challenging positions are to work as part of a small team in Atlanta and with other facilities and suppliers in the design, evaluation, test and support of devices used in self-service products such as ATMs (Auto-Teller Machines for the Banking Industry). A key requirement is to have a keen interest in the design of electro/mechanical systems operating under software or firmware command & control.
Main responsibilities shall include, but will not be restricted to:
•Design, develop and document firmware and software drivers controlling embedded real time devices.
•Design, develop and document test procedures and software to validate functionality.
•Software unit test, and supporting integration and systems testing.
•Regular progress reporting on schedule, quality & size of change.
•Bachelor Degree (GPA 3.3 to 4.0) or higher or equivalent in one of the following engineering/science disciplines: Electronics, Physics or related subject
•Project experience developing embedded real time firmware in C, C++ or Java (Arduino or Raspberry Pi)
•Project experience in developing PC\Device application level software (Linux, Android or Windows) C++, C#, VB, Java or C
•Software design and methodologies – Object Orientated
•Software configuration management
