 As a member of the US Product Strategy team, the candidate for this position will play a pivotal role developing strategy, communication plans and executing tactics in the U.S. This candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Insights, and Regulatory to develop and implement brand and disease area strategies. The position will report to the Senior Director, US Product Strategy. 

 Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development and implementation of key initiatives including brand and disease strategy, oncology healthcare professional educational programs and materials across multiple marketing channels
  • Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including nurses, hospitals, office staff, GPOs, and professional societies.
  • Develop thought leader strategy
  • Agency management to develop and implement promotional programs and materials
  • Development and maintenance of strong relationships with Sales and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal
  • Coordination with Commercial Analysis to incorporate customer insights into programs and materials
  • Budget preparation and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge; becoming the commercial expert for disease areas
  • Support competitive intelligence initiatives
  •  Develop relationships with key external experts in high priority tumor areas  
  •  Ensure seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the organization 
  •  Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

  Bachelor’s degreerequired. Advanced business degree strongly preferred 

  •  8-10+ years commercial brand leadership  
  • Experience with thought leader management
  • Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members
  • Specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnologyexperiencerequired including experience in hematology, oncology, or inflammation
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  •  Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and to interact with senior leadership 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for business growth
  •  Superior communication skills and the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information 
  •  Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and lead change
