The Director of Information Technology is responsible to the Chief Information Officer for the management of both the daily operations and ongoing systems development within the Information Systems division. Tasked with the coordination of all technology initiatives and with ensuring that all initiatives work together so that redundant work efforts are minimized.
The position is responsible to ensure that all technology development efforts remain on schedule, within budget, and that they are ultimately able to satisfy the targeted business requirements. The position is also responsible for the management of all ongoing computer operations. It is tasked with minimizing critical system down time and assuring that system performance meets or exeeds the Credit Union's standards.
Qualifications include a Bachelors degree (BS in Computer Science or similar) or equivalent experience, and 5-7 years of IT management experience. The selected candidate will have the ability to oversee the tactical progress with system development initiatives including the management of Information Technology (IT) personnel, tracking of all projects and schedules, and coordination of all IT resources necessary for the development or modification of information technology solutions. The candidate will be tasked with ongoing reporting and communication of all Information Technology activity with the CIO.
