Marketing Lead – Gastroenterology

To strengthen our Immunology Patient Value Unit (iPVU) based in Smyrna, GA, we are looking to fill the position of Marketing Lead - Gastroenterology. The Marketing Lead collaborates on the strategy for At-Home Administration, executes brand strategies, and creates and implements tactical plans for CIMZIA in Crohn's Disease.  The position will reside in the iPVU and report directly to the At-Home Differentiation Lead.


Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide input to, and utilize findings from, market research studies dedicated to understanding needs of healthcare providers, turning customer insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business


  • Partner in the development of the core value proposition for CIMZIA in Gastroenterology inclusive of clinical data, relevant services, and access considerations to drive clear ownership of the ideal CIMZIA patient


  • Create and execute innovative new resources and key marketing activities to implement brand strategy and communicate the value of CIMZIA to healthcare professionals


  • Develop and refine promotional resources and messaging to be used by the At-Home Treatment Choice Team; partner with internal stakeholders on field resource training and launch


  • Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process


  • Guide agency partners to develop promotional materials, and champion materials through the review/approval process


  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure timely and accurate review process


  • Track activities, inventory, and spend to ensure project timelines and expenses are kept on scope and budget
  • Champion the CIMZIA clinical perspective in Gastroenterology; ensure promotional materials deliver consistent CIMZIA clinical messages


  • Cultivate KOL advocacy for CIMZIA Gastroenterology; ability to build strong relationships with customers and engage with thought leaders is critical



  • Undergraduatedegreerequired, MBA preferred
  • 5years of progressive pharmaceutical industry experience; minimum 2-3years pharmaceutical sales or marketingexperience
  • Demonstrated evidence of proactively identifying issues and opportunities, making appropriate recommendations, and/or taking appropriate action, and gaining alignment to execute/get things done
  • Strong interdependent partnerships, collaboration, influence & negotiation skills are required
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to successfully execute complex initiatives
  • Ability to lead and work effectively across multiple functions, stakeholders, and partners
  • Ability to deliver presentations to groups of all sizes
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed)
