Regional Equipment Sales Manager
Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of organization engaged in sale of professional equipment and supplies, and providing customer services, to organizations by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide Sales leadership to manufactures' Sales Representative.
Provide feedback to Regional General Manager relative to market sales trends and sales representative's product needs.
Coordinate all meetings with sales representatives and related contacts critical to the sale of products (Engineering firms, Contractors, Daikin Applied Service, etc.)
Provide sales forecast for region of all products.
Meet and exceed prescribed sales targets for the assigned region.
Provide training as needed in support of product sales.
Interact and seek assistance from Product Sales Managers, National Accounts Mgrs, Solutions Sales Managers and Regional Operations Manager
Evaluate proficiency of Manufactures' reps relative to maintaining product line sales balance.
Interface with various support groups of Daikin to ensure appropriate support to all Sales channels, Daikin Applied Factory Service and Daikin Applied Parts.
Provide communications to support groups relative to market/industry trends in relationship to price, product needs, quality as well as training/development and compensation needs.

Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering desired. (Sales experience and related experience in support of sales will be considered if non scientific degree) and 5-10 years of related HVAC Product sales. (Or related sales experience within the industry)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; Project Management software and Database software.
