Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group): Support existing wet process steps for electronic assembly/MEMS assembly work, and work to design and implement new methods for current and future development projects. Steps include chemical processing (cleaning, etching), troubleshooting and correcting process issues, process data tracking and reporting, supervision of technicians and operators. Senior wet etching resource in research and development group. Specification and qualification of new equipment and processes as facility upgrades proceed. Wet etch experiment ownership, from inception through execution, data analysis and reporting. Day to Day Responsibilities: Support for a variety of wet process areas, including metal etch, HF etching of glass, individually and in team settings, as outlined in scope. Occasional need to fill in for technician or operator activities to support team goals.Travel Requirements (please note if international): ~20% Domestic Travel Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40 hr./wk. Education and Experience:Minimum of BS in science or engineering degree required, as well as 5-10 years of experience. Required Skills: Strong leadership skills, self-starter and experience in a cleanroom environment; chemical handling experience, familiarity with statistical process control theory, semiconductor/MEMS/advancedprocessing. Experienced user of Minitab/JMP or other analysis program. Desired Skills: Background in chemistry or chemicalengineering.
