Garver’s established Water Services Team has a new, exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to develop and steer Garver’s water service offerings in the Gulf Coast region. As Garver’s local Water Team Leader, this individual will have flexibility in regards to their location base but will primarily focus on the Florida panhandle, South Alabama, and South Mississippi markets.    As the Gulf Coast Water Team Leader you will have the lead responsibility for project portfolio management and execution of the planning, design, construction and startup phases of water related projects including water and wastewater treatment plant improvements, pump/lift stations, water and wastewater conveyance and collection, distribution, and storage. Other expectations of this role will be to:

  • Develop and implement a business plan to secure a water portfolio in the Gulf Coast region
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team of engineers and technicians
  • Develop, capture, and maintain sufficient workload for the team
  • Provide first-class client service management

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Ten (10) or more years of similar technical experience with no less than three (3) years’ experience in project/team leadership
  • Experience with leading marketing initiatives and client presentations
  • Candidates must have been an active member of AWWA and WEF for 5 or more years
  • A strong understanding of the most current water regulations
  • Experience and interest in publishing technical papers
  • Experience and interest in pursuing leadership opportunities within professional associations

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
