Job Description

SciMetrika, LLC is a Population Health consulting firm whose mission is to provide innovative scientific, technical, and logistical solutions that advance human health. We serve federal, state, and local agencies, commercial companies, educational institutions and private research organizations.

This position is to provide records management and team lead support for our client in the Research Triangle Park, NC.  SciMetrika is seeking a Senior Records Management Specialist to join the team responsible for providing records management, data management, content management, and information desk support. This position consists of both operational and project work. 


  • Serve as Team Lead
  • Update, record, and file [paper and electronic] documents when revised versions are received.

  • Verify and update documents as required to meet Section 508 compliance standards, using MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

  • Respond professionally to information inquiries, and disseminate information.

  • Forward/record responses to information inquiries in an information database.

  • Track and request updates due from project officers involved in studies.

  • Archive, track, and retrieve documents as needed.

  • Perform updates using the content management system.

  • Compile and generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required, needed, or requested by personnel.

  • Assist programmers as requested to identify and resolve issues relating to data management and access applications.

  • Assist team with user documentation and training guides for the data management applications.

  • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Experience and Skills

  • BS in scientific or life sciences field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of previous experience
  • Strong Adobe PDF and MS Office skills.

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems [Rhythmyx Percussion preferred].

  • Experience creating and updating HTML documents using text editors.

  • Experience writing Web Content of a scientific nature at a layperson’s level of understanding.

  • Familiarity with web writing using the HHS web style guide and Associated Press stylebook.

  • Must be technically competent and enjoy working with computers.

  • Must be organized, efficient, and adhere to process and guidelines.

  • Understanding of Section 508 Compliance.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Must have professional level written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be a rapid and eager learner.
