What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be the backbone of growing our platforms by securing client adoption of newly released products. In this role, you are our platform evangelist dedicated to customer expansion (not a biz dev/sales). You will be traveling within your market to train and meet your customers followed by relationship building and light analytics.

  • Manage relationships between Sorenson Media and our broadcast partners, maximizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining the highest standards in customer service
  • Research and understand the business of each partner station in your market
  • Position the Broadcast Solutions team as the go-to partner to aid the growth of topline station revenue
  • Facilitate information sharing among other Market Managers and Regional Director
  • Regularly communicate status and activities of your region to Regional Director
  • Serve as the company expert on your market
  • Report learnings and opportunities to overall Broadcast Solutions team
  • Analyze station performance across all SPARK products and provide recommendations to internal teams and clients
  • Participate in industry events and conferences

  • Must have a background in Broadcast or Digital
  • The ideal candidate would have 4+ years of experience in local television sales or news production and 2+ years of experience in digital/online advertising or content production
  • Hands-on experience with analyzing ratings data
  • Strong media presentation experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Experience motivating clients to complete complex tasks
  • Familiarity with an ad serving product (DoubleClick, VINDICO, MediaMind, VideoHub, Telemetry, etc.) is a plus
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and team player
  • Preference given if you've got broadcast experience or familiarity with any of the local stations:
    • CBS – WWMT
    • FOX – WXMI
    • ABC – WOTV
    • NBC – WOOD
