Walker Sands is looking for a creative and strategic leader to join our Chicago team as a senior account executive.

Our client portfolio contains an impressive list of Fortune 500 corporations, startups, fast-growing high-tech companies, digitalmarketing agencies, professional services firms, business associations and nonprofits.

As a senior account executive, you'll get to manage 4-6 retailtechnology and B2B accounts: nurturing client relationships, developing strategy, forging influential media contacts, doing whatever it takes to drive meaningful PR outcomes for top-tier technology firms.  You'll also be leading a team of passionate PR pros, helping to grow their skillset and developing them into rock star teammates.

Along the way, you will participate in our agency's culture of constant learning, accumulating valuable lessons from the field and swapping insights with people inside and outside of the firm. You'll also have the chance to work with senior leaders across the agency to help shape and develop more efficient and effective internal processes.


  • 4-6 years of agency PR experience, preferably in the fields of technology and/or B2B.
  • Strong writing end editing skills, with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong client relations experience, with a focus on strategy and planning. 
  • Prior people management experience.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand clients' business goals.
