Job Description
The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales, oversee the daily operations of the inside sales staff, and work with the inside sales team to drive sales results and achieve and exceed sales goals. He or she will collaborate with various professionals both within and outside of the company; therefore, it is essential that this individual have excellent communication skills and work well in a team environment. He or she should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. Organization, personal drive, the ability to develop and implement sales goals and plans are other key job skills required for this position.
Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the inside sales staff
• Work with management to set and track individual and team sales goals
• Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
• Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
• Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
• Provide customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products to management
• Research, develop and implement methods to increase customer engagement
• Ensure sales, financial and legal policies and procedures are met
• Build and maintain an open-communication environment for the inside sales team
• Work with marketing and product development departments to ensure delivery of brand consistency
• Conduct training, partner lunch and learns program and other activities to help develop the sales team’s knowledge and ability to sell.
• Help develop and then implement daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans with required success rates and associated dates.
• Conduct individual daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews with the inside sales team
• Conduct inside sales team performance reviews on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual progress reviews with management (and provide reporting as required)

Skills/Qualifications

• Four Year (Bachelor’s) Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
• Proven track record of sales success and as an Inside Sales Manager
• 5 years industry experience in selling IT hardware/software and/or solutions
• In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
• Hands-on experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office products
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong references and industry contacts
• Product application and technical awareness in our product range
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills
