Auto Dealership Brokerage Development Manager

Northern and Southern California territory

$150K + / Base Salary, Production Bonus and Benefits

The Rivington Partners Insurance Services – Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage program is a unique business opportunity for dealers to own and operate a RP Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage business within their dealership(s) creating an additional profit center while enhancing the overall car buying experience for buyers and dealers alike.

The RP Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage business model was created by auto industry professionals designed to further extend the dealerships relationship with its customer base beyond the traditional sales and service environments, further increasing customer retention rates.

RP Auto Dealership Brokerage Development Managers work closely with their Brokerage Dealership Principals, GM and Brokerage Managers providing professional support to maximize profitability. Bottom line, Rivington DBDM’s build professional relationships and are someone that dealers want to see.

Encouraged to apply are auto industry retail and auto industry related Account Managers with a strong database of Dealer Principal, Controller, GM, GSM and or F&I Director contacts who are seeking to leverage their auto industry experience and expertise into a career opportunity that rewards effort, business savvy and an entrepreneurial spirit. The Ideal Candidates:

Have extensive experience, knowledge and understanding of auto dealership culture, sales, service and F&I processes.

Can source and contact multi point and high volume Dealership Principals and GM’s to present the Rivington Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage program to grow their territory footprint.

Are empowered and expected to manage every aspect of the Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage business sales cycle and pipeline within their territory to meet annual brokerage footprint and written premium goals.

Prepare and present P&L driven PowerPoint presentations to Dealer Principals, CFO’s and other Executive level dealership management personnel to grow their territory footprint.

Meet with dealers on a quarterly basis to provide an analysis on the state of their Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage business within their territory.

Serve as Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage business subject matter experts.

Provide support to Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage managers to ensure that staff and businesses are licensed in accordance with state compliance.

Provide Auto Dealership Insurance Brokerage managers and staff with on-going training, best practices, growth opportunities and corrective actions when necessary.

Collaborate with team members, managers and cross-functional departments as necessary.

Are home based but, spend significant time on the road (75%) with frequent overnight travel.

Live within their assigned territory.

Northern Territory: Sacramento to Fresno and surrounding areas.

Southern Territory: San Luis Obispo to San Diego and surrounding areas.

Northern Territory interviews will be held December 18th & 19th in Concord, CA
