This position is within Camber's Assessment group, a component of the Software and Network Engineering business unit. The Assessment group is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high stakes tests and other tests used for personnel selection, classification, and proficiency. Our customers trust us to provide guidance at all phases to ensure a legally defensible test program that exemplifies industry standards.

The position is located in Monterey, CA. The individual selected for this position will provide support to the project. This person will contribute to analyses and implementation of studies and projects. Major duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Aid in analyses of manpower and personnel using analytical science principles, methodologies, and technologies in a theoretical and applied setting

*Contribute to new or modified methods that support R&D of processes, systems, and technologies used in assessments

*Contribute to the technical quality and timeliness of research projects.


The following requirements must be met:

*Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an analytical science field, plus 7 years of related work experience; or a Master's degree in an analytical science field, plus 3 years or related work experience. Examples of acceptable degrees include mathematics, statistics, quantitative psychology, data science, engineering, and computer science

*Must be a US citizen with at minimum a National Agency Check & Inquiries (NACI) personnel background investigation. Must be capable of obtaining a security clearance at the required level of access.

*Experience with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, including psychometrics, classical test theory (CTT), item response theory (IRT), factor analyses, structural equation modeling, and other multivariate techniques.

*Able to maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of technical and scientific personnel and teams as well as client managers.

The following is desired, but not required:

*Good skills with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

*Good skills with SPSS, R, or any other statistical software
