Conducts counterintelligence research and evaluate technical and all-source intelligence with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on thecounterintelligence threat to networked weapons platforms and US and DoD information networks. Analyzes network events to determine the impact oncurrent operations and conduct all-source research todetermine adversary capability and intent. Prepares assessments and cyber threat profiles of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Correlates threat data from various sources. Develops and maintains counterintelligence analytical procedures tomeet changing requirements and ensure maximumoperations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes. Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and network operations officials.
BA or BS with 4 to 6 years of experience. Equivalent years: BA/BA = HS + 7 years experience.
Experience with Cyber-attack vectors and Cyber threat actors recognized by the DoD
DoD 8140 Information Assurance Certification Training as Information Assurance Technical (IAT) and IA Management (IAM) level, as applicable
A working knowledge and understanding of theIntelligence Community (IC), DoD, and NGA.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (including but not limited to: correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, etc.).
Be able to execute work independently and as a team member.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills – using tact, patience and courtesy.
Be skilled in using the Microsoft ®Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
