The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Project Manager with experience managing packaged / Commercial Off –The- Shelf (COTS) solution upgrades using a proven upgrade methodology.

Activities and tasks include:

•Working with client business leadership to finalize requirements, scope and objectives
•Working with the Solution Architect, Integration Lead, and other project team members to develop the Project Plan
•Working with the Change Management lead to complete end-user readiness
•Working with the Testing Lead and project team to complete related system testing, implementation readiness, and documentation
•Working with project team and client to determine effort associated with solution configuration and post implementation support effort
•Working with project team and client to complete Infrastructure impact assessment detailing impact of solutions on existing infrastructure
•Determining and tracking project related and operational costs
•Working with client to coordinate scheduling of project and client staff

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The CGI Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

•Compliance for all project deliverables associated with upgrade approach/methodology
•Management oversight of project scope
•Development and management of project schedule(s) and milestones across one or multiple client groups
•Providing project status updates
•Managing project risks and issues, including escalation as required
•Management of project budget


Required qualifications to be successful in this role:


•Ability to initiate, conduct and close projects
•Coordination and management of client reviews and approvals
•Familiarity with IT concepts and System Development Life Cycle – particularly upgrades
•Able to establish strong business relationships with client and third party vendor support partners
•Excellent estimation and scheduling skills
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project applications
•Influencing and building consensus
•Delivery team leadership

Required Level of Education:

•College Diploma or University Degree
•PMP certification is highly desirable
•Minimum of 5-8 years of Project Management experience


•Ability to travel (approximately one week out of four)
