Description Manager, Human Resources (Reports to Sr. Manager, HR) Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Provides HR leadership by identifying, creating and driving key people strategies for team members in the Kansas City Restaurant Support Center including employee relations, coaching, training and development.

Influences leaders and managers to support behavior change and organization capability.

Provides direction on team member relations and performance matters and develops proactive programs to address any challenges.

Provide leadership to the employee development process for team members including performance management, career development, succession and workforce planning.

Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process and service improvements

Partners with legal proactively to understand and address regulatory changes

Develops and executes proactive employee engagement programs to ensure high levels of management credibility and business performance.

Contributes to the development of HR functional strategy, policies and procedures and leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives

Oversees management of the company’s Kansas City facility.

Proven track record of strong project management expertise using effective & innovative solutions; influencing multi-level stakeholders.

Successful candidates will possess critical attributes such as: flexibility, ability to be self-driven, auto-directed, attention to detail and highly resourceful within a fast paced and agile environment.

Requirements Key qualifications for this position include:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a human resources generalist/leadership role in a progressive HR department
Bachelor’s degree required. SHRM certifications (PHR or SPHR/SHRM CP/SHRM SCP) preferred
Strong business acumen and HR leadership experience with a proven track record of acting as a strategic HR business partner.
Ability to lead change initiatives
Experience in proactive employee relations, recruitment and staffing

Employee relations including fact finding, managing conflicts and developing win/win solutions

Ability to lead though influence in a matrixed environment & demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative and team environment

Demonstrated experience partnering with internal clients on solving business/operational issues
