Where the Chemistry Happens…
The Senior System Engineer will work in a global team in an enterprise environment and will be the local single point of contact at North America for all team relevant topics. The team is mainly responsible for all platform relevant topics like SCCM (software distribution), Intune and printing.
The Senior System Engineer will mainly support the mobile sub team. This sub team maintains the existing MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution for office devices (Microsoft Intune) and also the industrial MDM solution (SOTI), that is also use for BASF 4.0 Augmented Reality.
The Senior System Engineer will provide expert level configuration, management, and troubleshooting of all components of Intune and SOTI. Also monitor Intune health mitigate identified problems. This position will also resolve tickets and incidents opened by end users for phone relevant issues. S/he will support the BASF 4.0 project in North America to implement Augmented Reality solutions in that region.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- BS with 5+ years of experience with Mobile Device Management solutions OR Technical Certification (such as MCSE) with 5+ years of experience with Mobile Device Management solutions
- Experience with Windows servers and workstations
- Experience in operational skills and expertise in the following technologies: MDM, SCCM 2012, PowerShell, SQL, WMI, Basic Networking Concepts, Remote Tools, i.e. Remote Desktop, SMS Remote, Windows Assistant, Advanced TCP/IP functions (WINS, DNS, DHCP)
- Systems administrator level understanding of AD (Active Directory) and SCCM.
- Readiness and ability to work independently
- Very good analytical thinking
- Highly developed team skills
