Position Description:   The Product Marketing Director is charged with optimizing bookings and revenue for all new and existing products by serving as the product expert within the marketing team. The Product Marketing Director is also the marketing team’s interface with Product Management to provide marketing input for developing and commercializing successful new products. This position reports to Navicure’s Chief Marketing Officer. Performance measurement is based on bookings, leads, and revenue for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and stewards product positioning and messaging with Product Management that differentiates Navicure’s products in the market
  • Ensures Sales is able to communicate the value proposition of Navicure’s products and develops the sales tools including external presentations and training materials that support the selling process
  • Manages product launches of new products and releases including cross-functional implementation
  • Responsible for market and competitive intelligence in terms of positioning, features, benefits, pricing
  • Directs marketing and sales team on specific messaging on new and existing products, and collaborates with them on strategies and tactics that drive demand for products
  • Involved in producing product projections in order to ensure that the strategic direction of a product is in line with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for win/ loss analysis and other tools to provide insight on product and pricing enhancements
  • Manage client referral network, case studies, and leveraging results of beta testing for marketing purposes
  • Position reports to Chief Marketing Officer
  • Additional cross-functional relationships include Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Client Service internally, and three external agencies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS Degree, ideally with Marketing concentration
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing role
  • Excellent technology product marketingexperience; software, SaaS, or healthcareexperience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products including cross-functional implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and deliver on time, on budgetmarketing and sales tools in support of new product launches
  • Demonstrated utilization of market research and other insight/ intelligence tools to inform decision making
  • Extensive project management experience; Detail oriented
  • Must demonstrate personal leadership, including the ability to influence, and establish credibility
  • High-energy and passion for learning and winning
