We’re currently looking for a Operations Strategy Analyst to join our Captive Finance team in Mississauga, Ontario. POSITION FUNCTIONS:• Develop, manage and maintain multiple databases on behalf of the company.• Process routine risk based reporting by extracting data from the operational databases. • Create post-campaign/program response tracking & analysis.• Design and prepare reports based on department performance indicators.• Extract meaningful insights from said reports and present objective findings.• Populate databases with additional datasets and manage weekly, monthly and yearly large scale database updates.• Proactively detect and investigate data discrepancies and proactively work with business leads and technology to seek out and implement solutions.• Production reporting to create efficiencies and explore technology options to democratize information to management• Develop and create customized dashboards where necessary.• Provide ongoing staff support as issues arise.
REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.• Expertise in Excel (pivot tables), data integration, regression analysis, data modelling, and forecasting techniques.• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with data in an analytical role.• Knowledge of data architecture, query methodology, and overall database schema.• The ability to understand and translate technical detail into practical business language.• Financial Services or automotive captive finance experience preferred. • Experience in Operational and Risk analytics are beneficial.• Knowledge and understanding Tableau or SAS is also an asset.
