JOB DESCRIPTION

The Practice Administrator will be responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality can be provided to residents at all times.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in a Supervisory capacity in a Hospital or Long-term Care facility
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Current, unencumbered New York State Nursing Home Administrator's license or otherwise meet the licensure requirements of this State
  • Knowledgeable of Reimbursement regulations and Nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to Long-term Care administration
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology
  • Computer savvy
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills

  • Degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a Health-related field
