JOB DESCRIPTION
The Practice Administrator will be responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality can be provided to residents at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience in a Supervisory capacity in a Hospital or Long-term Care facility
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Current, unencumbered New York State Nursing Home Administrator's license or otherwise meet the licensure requirements of this State
- Knowledgeable of Reimbursement regulations and Nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to Long-term Care administration
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Computer savvy
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills
- Degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a Health-related field
