The firm's Family Law practice group seeks a mid-level associate attorney with a minimum of 4 years of litigation experience to join the Sacramento office. This is a sophisticated practice and the position requires substantial client contact.
Family law experience in a law firm setting is preferred; candidates with significant civil litigation experience in a law firm setting and a demonstrated interest in family law may be considered. The associate will make court appearances on a regular basis; candidates must have significant experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, and taking and defending depositions. Familiarity with basic business valuation principles, financial statements and tax concepts is preferred.
Associate salaries are based on years of experience and bonus consideration is given for productivity and/or performance. Must be a current, active member of the California Bar Association.
The successful candidate will have a distinguished academic record from a nationally recognized, ABA-accredited law school and have exceptional research, writing and verbal communication skills.
