ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Analyze, develop, and implement creative talent acquisition strategies for recruiting restaurant managers
-Proactively plan, implement and evaluate cost effective recruitment advertising & sourcing strategies
-Manage career sites, Internet job board postings, engage in social media networking strategies, participates in college career fair activities, recruiting agency management, and other recruiting strategies
-Actively promotes manager referral program with new hire managers to source external candidates
-Manages the interview and selection process applicants and Directors of Operations to ensure timely selection decisions are made
-Ensure and maintain appropriate division management staffing levels and proactive talent acquisition support for new restaurant growth
-Maintains communication with new MIT through the training process
-Facilitate workforce planning for internal candidate population with Directors of Operations and Operations HR partners to achieve internal hiring goals
-Develop and implement diversity recruiting strategies to source diverse talent and achieve gender and ethnicity hiring goals
-Generate excitement for the brand by attending career fairs and industry events
-Monitor management rosters with Directors of Operations for succession planning to identify current & future talent acquisition needs
-Consult and advises SVP/RVP, Directors, and GM’s on staffing and employment related issues
-Accurately executes all TAS system responsibilities, resume screening, applicant tracking, background & drug screen checks, candidate communications and new hire administration. Ensures process compliance to minimize company risk and liability
-Provide Business Intelligence, staffing reports & projections and data on other talent acquisition related topics to SVP/RVP and Directors of Operations.
-Deliver presentations at meetings, as needed
-Manage recruitment budget to achieve efficient MIT cost-per-hire goals.
-Subject matter knowledge on all talent acquisition related topics e.g. compensation, benefits, relocation, training, etc.
-Maintain active relationships within the Darden TA Community and networks externally with other recruiting/staffing entities to gain knowledge of competitive activities and best practices
-Demonstrate ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization
-Consults and coaches restaurant on employee selection programs (TAS), policies and procedures related to the various employment practices, issues and concerns
-Coach and provide training support to Directors of Operations/GM/MP/RM in effective recruitment strategies and techniques for hiring team members, including recruitment advertising, use of local resources, and participation in job fairs.
-Provide coaching and support for hourly staffing at new restaurant openings
-Manages requisitions for Management and Team Member roles.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-Minimum of 3-5 years high volume recruiting experience for regional or national hospitality or retail organization
- Minimum of 2 years’ expertise in social media candidate engagement and sourcing skills
-Previous management recruiting experience (3 years)
-Strong computer & technology skills (Windows, Excel, Word, SMS, ATS systems and video interviewing)
-Internal Candidates: Current Darden brand General Manager/Managing Partner level experiencerequired
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field; supplemented by a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in recruitment and selection; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
