Mechanical Engineer, Senior Principal
The candidate will provide mechanicalengineering expertise as a part of a team of scientists and engineers designing,developing and testing high-powered radio frequency systems. This will include prototyping, operation, installation and maintenance of mechanical components for naval applications. These components may include: mounts, motors, generators, cooling systems, etc. The candidate will work closely with electrical and radio-frequency engineers, developing systems that meet rigorous requirements with narrow trade-spaces. Significant focus will be on reducing the size and weight of current prototypes. Systems will be installed on large maritime platforms and small ground and aerial systems. Operational experience with related systems is desired but not required.

- Bachelors degree in engineering, or a relevant scientific discipline
- 10 years of experience performing relevant work on DoD weapons system projects
- Experience with current 3D CAD tools
- DoD Secret clearance
