The principal systems engineer is expected to conceive novel concepts, determine feasibility, demonstrate functionality, develop an initial business case, and support production launch for advanced commercial steering products. These products can be characterized as either a completely new product for our division, or an existing product enhanced by a new technology not used in our historic product offering, such as electronics and computer control.
A successful applicant should have a background in computer control of mechanical systems. Particular experience in hydraulics, sensors, digital signal processing and vehicle dynamics is preferred. The applicant should have good communication skills allowing high quality customer presentations and internal written documentation. Management of project teams will be required. Specific competency in 'C' and Mat Lab is required.
M.S. in mechanical or electrical (systems) engineering OR B.S. in mechanical or electrical (systems) engineering with a minimum of 4 years experience. Experience and Skill Requirements Specific competency in 'C' and Mat Lab is required.
