Foth Infrastructure and Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Project Manager - Mining, who has a desire to contribute to our clients' success and is looking for new learning experiences and opportunities for career growth.  This position will be working out of our Duluth or Minneapolis, MNlocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage mining and other environmental projects; deliver projects within budget, schedule, quality, and contractual commitments 
  • Lead multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists
  • Manage the planning, development, and execution of projects
  • Lead federal, state, and local permitting efforts
  • Assemble project teams and monitor project performance while mentoring and coaching team members
  • Negotiate scope change orders with clients and subcontractors
  • Work with client operations to assist with creating proposals and cultivating client relationships

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or applicable technical discipline
  • 10 years of experienceworking with complex projects of varying size and scope

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 15+ years of experience working in the consulting engineering industry
  • 5years of experience managing mining projects including preparation of scoping and trade-off studies, feasibility studies permitting related documents, and natural resource assessments
  • Professional registration or certification in project management
  • Previousexperiencewith the following:
    • Developing project opportunities
    • National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Minnesota Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) compliance
