The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for configuration and maintenance of network personal computers; assists with network communication connections and testing; answers calls from practices and takes corrective action; works in conjunction with McLeod Health IT department to resolve end user issues; maintains personal computers, printers and other hardware in working condition; configures personal computers to network capabilities and loads software.
80 hours biweekly as scheduled
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Three years experience in the support and networked personal computers is required. Experience in Windows XP and higher and Microsoft Office Software requireder one yearexperience in a physician's office or other clinical setting.
