This role will be responsible for day to day functions and development/implementation of sales initiatives. Responsibilities will include management of RFQ’s, daily sales activity, broker management, customer relations, overall sales order management and pricing analyses/reporting as well as development and execution of strategic sales opportunities for long term customer solutions (i.e., airlines, end users) and coordination of SBU sales strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Ops:
    • Create strategic customer solutions in collaboration with UTAS Customer Service initiatives
    • Develop and maintain customer relationships
    • Coordinate with surplus partner(s) in development and management of new saleschannels
    • Evaluate, develop, execute and manage pricing strategy using market intelligence to support customer solutions initiatives (LTA’s)
    • Evaluate, develop, execute and manage pricing strategy using market intelligence to support internal product specific initiatives (SBU’s)
    • Coordinate sales strategies across SBU’s to expand UTAS offering for customer demand for growth opportunity
    • Coordinate sales strategies across SBU’s to expand UTAS offering utilizing blended solutions (i.e., new, surplus, multiple product groups) as appropriate
  • Tactical Ops:
    • Manage, improve and execute responses to customer RFQ’s using ACE tools
    • Manage and execute daily sales activity and process execution of the surplus sales function
    • Utilize ACE tools to manage identified sales opportunities
    • Understand and adjust to competitive landscape
    • Develop and maintain customer relationships
    • Evaluate and execute pricing strategy using available market intelligence for transactional sales initiatives
    • Coordinate/execute sales across SBU’s considering all sales avenues and partner capabilities


Qualification: Required:

5 years experience in Aerospace on the Aftermarket side.

Preferred:

10 years experience in Aerospace on the Aftermarket side.
Specific experience in Surplus business.
Education: Required:

BA in Engineering, Business, or Marketing

Preferred:

MBA
