Your Responsibilities

  • Execute Company business development plan and key portfolio engagement plans
  • Develop satellite fleet and end-to-end solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Develop account plans for strategic programs and Company business goals
  • Provide effective account management oversight to strategic customers 
  • Lead proposal efforts by writing technical proposals 
  • Propose introduction of new fleet assets, products, services that meet customer needs
  • Establish effective client relationships resolve customer issues and deliver customer solutions
  • Gather business intelligence to provide identification of new business opportunities
  • Conduct presentations, set up client demonstrations and visit client sites
  • Develop responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Organize and attend meetings with Combatant Command customers
  • Manages a pipeline of business opportunities

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you must have extensive knowledge of the satellite based networks/industry and enterprise networks as well as knowledge on how US Government uses/purchases satellite services and bandwidth. Knowledge of O3B satellite systems is also important.  You must have extensive experience developing and managing a robust pipeline of business opportunities as these will enhance your success in this role. 

Furthermore, you

  • experience writing/managing proposals for U.S. Government/commercial customers, to include complex and large end-to-end satellite communications programs
  • are detail oriented and highly organized, able to prioritize/manage time - meet deadlines
  • have excellent problem-solving skills and able to accommodate changing priorities
  • are a self-starter who can seek out potential issues that aren’t readily apparent 
  • can interact effectively within a global multicultural fast-paced environment
  • can handle high stress situations in a professional, and business manner
  • have excellent verbal/written communication, listening and diplomacy skills - a world class attitude for customer service  


  •   Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Military Arts/Sciences, or 10+ years of satellite experience
  • Understand U.S. Government commercial satellite communications requirements
  • Knowledge of Combatant Command operations/mission applications, employment of satellite communications capabilities, and U.S. Government acquisition and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of the O3b Networks system and capabilities
  • Ability to identify, analyze, segment, target, and win business opportunities for satellite services 
  • Ability to develop a strategic plan for capturing Air Mobility programs and acquire new business
  • Manage existing accounts to increase revenue 
  • Extensive knowledge of O3b Networks and Maritime users
  • Extensive knowledge of Air Mobility programs with specific emphasis on UAS/UAVs
  • Experience creating strategic teaming relationships with industry partners
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and other U.S. Gov contracting regulations
  • Excellent verbal/written skills (Shipley proposal trained) with outstanding presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project
  • Be eligible for US Government security clearance
