Job Summary

Looking for a committed leader! The Senior Director of Financial Shared Services is responsible for providing leadership in Financial Shared Services by managing multiple departments and operational processes along with providing strategic support and analysis. In this key role, this individual will direct and manage all transactional and operational accounting activities which include Accounts Payable, Credit & Collections, Lease Administration, Franchisee Accounting Support and Payroll. The successful candidate will be a driver of transformation and manages the change initiatives to ensure successful implementation. The effective individual will provide oversite to managers to manage day to day operations to support the business strategies ensuring continuous improvement and exceptional client service. The Senior Director of Financial Shared Services will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing financial policies and procedures as well as ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting in a timely manner.

Directs and leads managers within a single country and has 5 direct and 60+ indirect reports

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide operational direction for Finance Shared Service team/s
  • Analyze and evaluate business processes and recommend actions to streamline processes, improve operational efficiencies, and identify opportunities for reducing operational costs
  • Produce and analyze weekly/monthly KPIs, dashboards and analytics to measure and improve performance
  • Assist with special financial and business related projects which impact FSS
  • Utilize technology to enhance vendor management (contracts, invoices and chargebacks) process and work collaboratively with key partners to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Manages and administers all SOX Key controls
  • Assist with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests
  • Responsible to direct department hiring and terminations as required. Directs the departments training requirements and ensures that timely and effective training is provided to maximize associate effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain relationships by collaborating across business units and departments to foster trust, commitment, accountability and results. Sponsor organizational project initiatives and ensures initiatives are implemented and operational.
  • Ensure issues are resolved in a timely and acceptable fashion to avoid further escalations to senior leadership

Job Specifications

Directs and leads managers within a single country and has 5 direct and 60+ indirect reports

12+ years’ experience, must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance leadership. A plus of leading ~50 or more resources and between 3-6 direct reports.


Public accounting experience, preferably Big 4

Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Business

  • CPA preferred
