Project Managerposition located in Salt Lake City, UT.  The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills andexperiencenecessary to:

  • Be responsible for the management and overall coordination, status reporting and stability of a variety of enterprise wide projects
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
  • Be responsible for assembling project plans, teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily
  • Manage risks/issues with enterprise related projects.
  • Identify resource needs, performs quality reviews, accesses and mitigates risk
  • Escalate functional quality and timeline issues appropriately
  • Track costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers
  • Deliver large cross-functional projects on reporting, data warehouse and/or accounting/finance
  • Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
  • Design, implement, evaluate and audit project management processes and templates
  • Work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure project completion
  • Work in a fast-paced environment anticipating, creating and managing change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree
  • 6+ years of experience in project implementation management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and changes management practices and techniques or other directly related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of project management, typically for a specific department, including methodology, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management
  • Strong risk enterprise management experience
  • Experience in working in enterprise projects that includes data conversion
  • Data Warehouse and/or reporting experience is a plus
  • Experience in solution identification and assessment, vendor selection, and creation of business and financial case
  • Must have solid leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues
  • Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs
  • Solid negotiation and facilitation abilities
  • Knowledge of departmental specific processes, computer applications or other project related knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Project and the entire MS Office Suite
  • Experience doing very large enterprise projects on reporting, data warehouse and/or accounting/finance
