Contribute to the profitability and growth of Fulton Financial Corporation by leading a team of Relationship Managers and working with Fulton Partners to develop and coordinate all sales for an assigned market. Accountable for balance sheetretention within the business unit as well as new Commercial loan, deposit and fee income generation. Champions the Fulton Partner Referral Program by facilitating the ongoing communication between Relationship Managers and Partners. Oversees credit quality of the Commercial Loanportfolio within the business unit. Promotes and coaches Commercial Relationship Managers to provide a superior customer experience while maintaining sound lending practices. Operates with substantial latitude for non reviewed action or decision making. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of commercial/business banking and assists with the completion of complex assignments/tasks.


Essential Duties

  • Responsible for overall human resources management for the assigned team to include growth and development of employees. Coach Relationship Managers and Team Leaders about sales sourcing and developing prospective customers. Facilitate team’s identification of new loan, deposit and fee income opportunities within their existing client bases during ongoing client interactions. Works with businesses with revenues between one and fifty million dollars within a market generally between four hundred million and eight hundred million dollars. Conduct Division and Affiliate Market Meetings to keep sales team abreast of the bank’s salespromotions, initiatives and strategies as well as current market intelligence. Encourage utilization of the Bank’s proposal system with clients and prospects. Hold regular staff meetings to keep team abreast of sales results, credit policy and issues and risk compliance matters. Establish and manage employee performance to standards by providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to employees. Accountable for management of RM performance goals. Assist team members with more complex relationships in their credit portfolios by joint calling and rendering underwriting and analysis assistance as necessary. Promote and manage a team environment whereby team members utilize their knowledge, experience and resources to achieve employee scorecard goals. Demonstrate leadership and set examples in fostering teamwork, effective communication, and employee development. Exemplify, monitor and coach staff on providing a superior customer experience. Ensure that all Relationship Managers are making sound lending decisions and recommendations and following established policies, procedures and regulatory and risk compliance matters. Responsible for retention of team members, employee engagement, and positive morale.
  • Oversee the management of overall portfoliorisk and compliance management for the team. Active participation in Asset Quality monitoring, review and reporting processes.
  • Active and engaged participation in weekly Regional and or Senior Loan credit committees with the stated role of Chair, Co Chair, Vice Chair or Permanent Voting Member.
  • Participate in structured leadership meetings that facilitate a unified and consistent approach to sales, credit and risk compliance matters across the bank and Fulton Financial Corporation. Makes recommendations for changes in procedures as needed.




BachelorDegree or equivalent experience. Specialty: Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (Required)


10 or more years Commercial bankingexperience. (Required)

10 or more years Managerial experience or other demonstrated leadership experience to include the ability to influence others to drive sales results. (Required)
