The Emergency Medicine Department at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks a highly motivated physician leader for the position of Director, Clinical Operations for one of Pennsylvania’s busiest Emergency Departments with 26+ physicians treating over 70,000 patients annually.Penn State Hershey is twice recognized Magnet healthcare organization and the only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center in PA hosting two resuscitation/trauma bays, incorporated Pediatric Emergency Department and Observation Unit along with our Life Lion Flight Critical Care and Ground EMS Division.
Seeking candidates with strong leadership, collaborative and interpersonal skills, a proven track record of managing community needs and Departmental resources, excellent clinical and administration skills, and demonstrates the knowledge and ability in the financial, managerial, and marketing aspects of emergency medicine.

Medical degree – M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program
License eligibility for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
Board certification or eligibility by ABEM or AOBEM
