Job Details: LincolnHealth is seeking a Director of Nursing at St. Andrews Village, a gracious, full service retirement community. St. Andrews Village is located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor, a thriving, historic seaside village. The St. Andrews Village Retirement Community opened its doors in 2000, and has been a thriving part of life in Boothbay Harbor ever since.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for overall operation and ensuring delivery of quality patient/resident care by Assisted Living, Safe Havens, Gregory Wing (LTC) and Zimmerli Pavilion (Skilled Nursing) staff. Furthermore, the Director of Nursing is responsible for decision making and policy development pertaining to SAV nursing. S/He communicates the importance of LincolnHealth’s Mission and Vision, while also emphasizing the importance of employee/customer relationship to realize positive outcomes.
*Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year nursing program; and five years related experience (including geriatric nursing and nursing management).
*Bachelor of Science Nursing degree and five years related experience (including geriatric nursing and nursing management) preferred.
*Experience in long term care nursing management and familiarity with and support of the Culture Change movement preferred.
*Current Maine State Registered Professional Nurse license.
*Current BLS certification.
*Certificate in Gerontology and Nursing Management.
