Join an established Wound Healing program and be a key member of the team responsible for implementing service expansion and development goals.
The role is full-time and includes 0.6 FTE patient care in our wound clinics and 0.4 FTE Medical Director responsibilities. This allows for the best of both worlds – clinical practice alongside committed wound healing teams and dedicated time for program administration.
•Knowledge/experience in advanced wound healing/hyperbaric programs and patient care
•Preference for administrative/leadership experience and a passion for participating in quality improvement processes
•Wound care and HBO certification is desired
•Board certified/eligible at time of employment (board recognized by the ABMS or AOA)
•Licensed in the state of WA as an MD or DO by the time of employment
•DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
•Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
MultiCare Centers for Wound Healing:
•Three ambulatory Centers for Wound Healing based at Auburn Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital
•Two new monoplace hyperbaric chambers (Auburn)
•Centers of Excellence staffed with on site supervisors, teams of wound certified ARNPs/nurses and wound care physicians
•Partnership with system hospitals to provide advanced wound healing services to inpatients (staffed separately from the ambulatory wound healing centers)
