The Buyer will beresponsible for developing and leading the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, throughRFI's andRFP's including competitive bidding process, service provider selection, negotiating price and terms/conditions inpartnership withinternal stakeholders and legal. This individual will developmaster service agreements, end-user license agreements, and statements of work with SLAs. Performfinancial analysis andrisk assessment to recommend optimal solutions to the businesses. Primary area ofResponsibilitiesinclude:

  • Sourcing
  • Contracting
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Category Spend Management
  • Developing & Executing Savings Projects
  • Relationship Development with internal customers
  • Day to Day Procurement Processes



  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Professional certifications in Purchasing are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of GenEx purchasing experience, including contract negotiations required.  Experience in procuring Financial Services, IT or Consulting Services preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of business results in a matrix environment and/or with multiple companies
  • Cross company and/or cross matrix experience working in managing large complex projects
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels with customers, 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders
  • Time management skills required to maintain multiple projects
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to set executive direction
  • Work without direction and determine own methods to accomplish work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, decision making/problem solving and influencing and team building skills
  • Strong experience in procurement, finance and contracts (legal)
  • High frequency of interaction with external suppliers and business partners
  • Strong computer skill with advanced Excel skills (VLook-Up, Pivot Tables, etc.) required.  SAPexperience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
