Project Manager - Tissue Machine Engineering
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Lead project teams in the development and implementation of projects using the Georgia-Pacific Capital Project Work Processes
Project Manager on Tissue Machine projects
Develop investment proposals
Develop scopes & estimates
Write equipment and performance specifications
Develop execution plans
Team management (lead multi discipline teams and external engineering firms)
Manage project schedule and track engineering progress
Ensure capable field technical support and construction management resources and systems are in place to drive project success and EH&S excellence
Execute project cost tracking and reporting
Organize and execute activities that will deliver projects as defined in the Scope of Work and project justification proposal. This includes design, construction/installation, commissioning, startup, and documentation activities.
Job requires up to 50% travel.
Use economic thinking when evaluating alternatives/equipment/vendors/contractors.
Exercise 10,000% compliance relative to environmental, safety, and business practices.

What You Will Need:
A minimum 7 years of combined project engineering and operations experience
Experience with MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project
Willing and able to travel up to 50%

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering required
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Paper Science or Mechanical
10 years of combined project engineering and operations experience
3 years Project Management experience
