Job Title: Strategic Account Manager (SAM)

Grow revenue by acting as a strategic business partner in existing high potential / high spend accounts.
Proactively manage accounts through partner development and sales strategy execution to continually assess client needs, ensure Align continues as the preferred vendor, and drive growth
Effectively transitions relationship from seller / customer to trusted advisor; regularly takes on a consultative role by sharing trends, insights, and new ideas
Communicate with all staff members (eg Doctor, hygienist, clinical assistant) to develop an in-depth understanding of the business needs to clearly articulate fit with Align product, platform, and solution capabilities
Develops strategic business plan with accounts to facilitate the achievement of technical and financial objectives, used as the basis for on-going performance reviews to ensure plan goals are delivered
Orchestrate additional internal Company resources (e.g. Customer Service, Marketing, Costa Rica) to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align solutions
• Salesexperience: 7+ Years B2B “Challenger Sales” competitive salesexperience, Value Add & Deep Dive Selling Experience, Medical Sales
• Industry knowledge: Orthodontic & Clinical experiencepreferred, at minimum “Clinical Credibility”
• Business & Marketing Skills:, Ability & comfort having business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and asking the right business questions, entrepreneurial sprit
• Behavioral competencies: Strong communication skills, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Able to build strong long-term relationships with multiple contacts within account.
