WSP USA, Inc seeks a highly motivated mid-level to senior level leader in our Mobility Operations group as the Director of Traffic Management Center Operations. Ideal location is in the New York City metro, Philadelphia, Washington, DC corridor.  
Position responsibilities include:

    Overall management responsibility and accountability including client relationship management.
    Has marketing/business development capabilities when it comes to traffic management centers.
    Has financial management acumen and responsibilities including contract management, budget monitoring, profit responsibility, and oversee billings.
    Supports individual facility operating managers in employee hiring, retention, replacement (where necessary).
    Responsible for driving new business, seeking opportunities to innovate, etc.

 
Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

    Ensures that organizational policies and procedures are adhered to.
    Maintains close communications and coordination with internal and external contacts.
    Leads internal working groups for process improvement in conjunction with our client (s).
    Responsible for ensuring project teams meet all contract performance criteria.



Job Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in relevant area with a minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation operations
    Experience with Traffic Management Center and/or operations preferred
    Proven prior line management responsibilities
    Proven ability to provide strong leadership
    Must be detailed oriented, possess excellent organizational skills and can work independently
    Ability to make sound decisions quickly in a fluid work environment
    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with many different levels of employees
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Extensive client management experience in contract, project financial and team management.
    Six Sigma experience is preferred, but not required
    Travel to project locations will be required
